NAB BREAK UP
In 2011, NAB had a new CEO who was dedicated to make Australian banking fairer and more competitive. Unfortunately, Australians weren’t listening. They believed Australia’s four big banks were in bed together to crush competition. To show NAB was different we decided to break up with the other major banks.
This campaign received a lot of free media coverage. The positivity generated from the break-up campaign lead to a huge increase in sales and a great boost in staff morale. It was the winner of many advertising awards for effectiveness including a Cannes Grand Prix.
Our team worked closely with NAB on this campaign and it developed into the best agency-client relationship I have ever been part off. It paved the way for many more effective NAB campaigns.
