M&M’S BARE ALL
The M&M’S brand is all about the M&M’S colourful shell. So, we thought how would M&M’S fans react if we removed all the shells and created the world first ever stark, naked M&M’S?
We changed the production line at the Mars factory and then asked M&M’S fans to find the nude M&M’S hidden in packs on supermarket shelves.
This integrated campaign included gossip magazine articles, paparazzi shots of the nude M&M’S and a website to show how the M&M’S were coping with their nudity. A mischievous Red even held an online auction of Crispy M&M’S orange shell. It fetched $610.
The campaign was the winner of a Bronze Cannes Lion and lead to many more innovative M&M’S promotions.
